CLIMATE RESILIENCE & SUSTAINABILITY INTENSIVE TRAINING WORKSHOP
Duration: 4 Days May 5th to 8th 2026

Target Audience: Climate policymakers, environmentalists

Day 1: Climate Science & Resilience Fundamentals
• Understanding Climate Change – Causes, impacts, and global trends.
• Climate Resilience & Adaptation – Key concepts, frameworks, and case studies.
• Risk Assessment & Vulnerability Mapping – Identifying climate risks using GIS and
data tools.

Day 2: Sustainable Development & Green Infrastructure
• Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) & Climate Action – Linkages between
climate change and global development.
• Green Infrastructure & Nature-Based Solutions – Strategies for urban resilience and
ecosystem restoration.
• Circular Economy & Sustainable Resource Management – Waste reduction, energy
efficiency, and water conservation.

Day 3: Climate Finance & Policy Implementation
• Introduction to Climate Finance – Sources, mechanisms, and access to climate funds.
• Climate Policies & International Agreements – Paris Agreement, NDCs, and regional
policies.
• Public-Private Partnerships & Investment Strategies – Mobilizing funds for climate
action.

Day 4: Project Development & Action Planning
• Project Proposal Development – Writing strong climate adaptation and mitigation
proposals.
• Action Planning & Stakeholder Engagement – Community participation and policy
advocacy.
• Final Presentations & Certification – Participants present climate action plans and
receive certification.
